Trip to Washington Part 2

These three are pics of the cousins playing together obviously, but it's cute because they were playing some sort of sleeping game. It was adorable to watch.

 PJ made the required sacrifice for our stay.

 Oh my goodness, the water was soooooo cold, but where there is water children will want to play. So we let them. The loved running in and out of the cold water to warm up in the toasty sand. I do need to say that T and I found a ginormous sea star in the tide pools, but we couldn't get a decent picture of the thing. The husbands didn't believe us. It was purpleish. Biggest sea star I have ever seen. It was amazing. No joke. The chilens' loved playing with the sea anemones and other snails and wild life they could find. It was beautiful.

 The log was a fun makeshift raft. They would sit on the log and immediately jump out of the water because their bums got cold.

 ^^Kiera wanted to get warm too. She wouldn't venture into the water though. There's a reason...we were just skipping rocks and walking around the tide pools when PJ and Nate yell and when I turn around I see PJ grabbing Kiera by, literally, the scruff of her neck to pull her face first out of the water. Silly thing was tripped by the tiniest of waves....I can't call it a wave, how about she was grazed by the water and fell. Either way she was traumatized and T thankfully had a little outfit that stretched to Kiera's size so she didn't need to wear cold soaked clothes while the other kids explored. Poor thing.

 Kiera was a cutie and just stayed right next to me and PJ and played in the sand. She found Tanner's boots and just had to put them on. She had a thing with shoes at the time...still does.

 ^^I can't believe Owen just let us bury him, and he stayed still. It must have been quite toasty...or he went into a hypothermia induced shock...

 ^^The whole time Kiera was a little over loving to Taryn and she was very aware of Kiera's presence at all times. I love this picture of Kiera giving loves though.

 ^^Addie needed to give the little sweetheart some loves too.

 ^^The kiddos were worn out! It was so much fun! There aren't any pictures, but we were able to tour an old seaside military base. It was sooo creepy, but the little ones loved exploring the complex. When we were done exploring we took the ferry across the bay.

We had a lot more fun than just these pictures show, and we sure hope Nate and T will have us again someday soon.
