Todo, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore!

So, let me just start off saying. I love Halloween! Don't think that in any way that means I like any of the nasty, creepy, gross, scary things that have seemed to engross the holiday. No, I love the kitchy cutesy decorations, the fun jack 'o lanterns, and the adorable children in their costumes. I get it from my mom. I won't lie I loved giving candy out to the children in our neighborhood growing up, and most of all I loved the costumes my mom would make me every year. It was a lot of fun! So when last year PJ convinced me not to dress my 3 month old up for the holiday because 'noone would see the costume anyways, and she's too young to remember any of this.' I was crushed(probably the impractical side of me coming out...no, definitely the impractical side of me coming out). Not this year, although I wanted to go all out and buy the satin fabric, and every other accessory imaginable to make Addie a Cinderella costume, I compromised for a cost free Dorthy costume (I got the fabric from someone in the ward). Honestly, I think she looks more like an Oompa Loompa, or one of the Munchkins, but overall it turned out pretty cute! OK, enough of my blathering here are some cute pictures of my Munchkin version of Dorthy from the Wizard of OZ! Oh, to complete the costume you need a cute Munchkin...like this...
She looks so grown up here!

These are Addie's friends: Jack the Jack O' Lantern, Trevor the Fireman, and Cora the Monkey!

The majority of the pictures were taken at the ward Mother's Group Halloween Party! Complete with edible play dough, halloween books, homemade apple cider, spooky music, and tasty cookies! Oh, and I forgot to mention Todo, he is a two toned puppy in an Easter basket! I thought it was clever.
