So on that note...this weekend we went to the Utah State Fair!

There we tons of fun exhibits, and activites for us to do! This picture is of me and Addison in front of princess Belle's dress (there was also a cinderella dress), it was an advanced sewing entry in the fair. They had quite the selection of shows for us to attend; one of our favorites was the hypnotist show, the host was hillarious spouting out pun after pun (the funny part was I don't think the majority of the audience got the jokes, or they just weren't easily amused). There was also an Alligator show, a ventriliquist act, and a bear show.

The bears were very talented doing stunts from standing on the their hind legs to balancing on a ball and rolling it into a ring.

We did go see one of the traditional animal contests...of course the only one we saw was in an air conditioned building...unfortunatly it was only the one where they show off their sheep...fun.
This one is for Nate and T...there was a food stand called Moochies in the food court and you will never guess why it is so special...It was one of the restaurants that Guy Fiere (not sure how to spell his name) from the food network visited on one of his shows Diners Drive ins and Dives! It was a Philly Cheesesteak place and they were pretty good! Just thought I would let you know. We are on a mission to visit as many places as we can that were on his show.
Addison was a trooper the whole day, but by the end she was just as grumpy and tired as PJ and I were. She's sooo cute!!

These are just some of the fair entries that I enjoyed! There were also many food entries I didn't bother taking their pictures. Just know there were at least 20+ cookie, salsa, bread etc. catagories and each had around 20 contestants.
I love the train quilt, and the pink and brown quilt. Someday I hope to be a master quilter!
Anyways, the trip was fun and we thoroughly enjoyed our first family outing!
